• Be on time. If you are running late, contact your supervisor or General Contractor ahead of time.
• Always use protective floor covering and plastic wall protection as needed to protect the client’s home.Always use dust control measures, which may include Zip walls, self-closing Zip doors, dust evacuation window fans, air scrubbers. Fans, scrubbers and Zip Doors can be provided by Peak Nine.
• All subcontractors must clean up their own mess daily. Maintain a clean work environment. Broomclean daily. Vacuum as needed. Utilize dumpsters when available.
• Park on the street. Never park on the customer’s driveway.
• No smoking permitted inside or near the job site. Your vehicle, driveway and street are good places to smoke. Do not throw cigarette butts in the yard, on the sidewalk, driveway or anywhere else, dispose of them properly.
• Low volume radios are permitted with the customer’s approval. Headphones and earphones may be used as long as they do not create a dangerous environment (situations where you need to hear your work environment instead of music)
• No foul language
• Always treat the client with respect. Be friendly – the client pays our paychecks.
• You are a subcontractor for Peak Nine Design. It is not appropriate to engage in business dealings or Change Order discussions with a Peak Nine client. Always refer these to the GC.
• No food or drink is allowed inside the building. Water is always allowed.
• Under no circumstances will any worker on a site use or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during work hours. Work hours include lunch, dinner breaks and time between shifts, when applicable.
• Skilled subcontractors are expected to have their own tools. However, Peak Nine can provide specialty tools or make a temporary tool loan if mutually agreed upon.
• Clean shirts with sleeves are required, clean long pants are preferred, clean shorts are allowed during very hot weather. Shirts must not have offensive printed content.
• Hard hats, gloves, hearing and eye protection must be worn as needed. Safety First.
• Boots are preferred to be worn on the job site, no open toed shoes or sandals allowed.
• No animals or personal pets on the job site.
• Please ask permission to use a client ‘s restroom.
• Do not enter any rooms in a client’s home other than those associated with the job.
• No stealing.
• No one shall possess firearms or explosives while on a job site.
